Assess launch readiness using evidence
Does the launch have evidence that is strong and recent enough to authorise go?
Direct answer
Proven readiness combines evidence coverage, freshness and criticality, then applies a blocking rule to non-negotiable conditions.
01Issue a go, restricted go or no-go with dated conditions.
02The rule, the evidence and the next review date stay visible.

Evidence-based readiness index
Calculation · SQ-44
Calculate a proven readiness, corrected for freshness
Old or partial evidence is not worth as much as complete, recent evidence. The index corrects each dimension by its coverage and its freshness before applying the blockers.
Illustrative case: a B2B offer launching in 18 days, with six readiness dimensions and one compliance validation still open.
- 01Weight
Assign the weights according to the effect of a failure on the launch.
- 02Cover
Score from 0 to 1 the share of the condition actually proven.
- 03Refresh
Apply a freshness coefficient based on the age and the stability of the evidence.
- 04Block
Handle separately any non-negotiable condition, even when the total is high.
Proven readiness index: 71.3/100
Support and measurement lower the score. Compliance forbids a full go until the signed evidence is available.
PIR = Σ (weight × evidence coverage × freshness); full go if PIR ≥ 80 and no blocker| Dimension | Weight | Coverage | Freshness | Points | Decision |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Offer and price | 20 | 0.90 | 0.95 | 17.10 | Ready |
| Product | 20 | 1.00 | 0.90 | 18.00 | Ready |
| Sales | 15 | 0.75 | 0.80 | 9.00 | Complete |
| Operations | 15 | 0.80 | 0.95 | 11.40 | Ready with conditions |
| Support | 15 | 0.60 | 0.70 | 6.30 | Reinforce |
| Measurement | 15 | 0.70 | 0.90 | 9.45 | Complete |
01At 71.3, the full launch is not authorised; a limited pilot remains possible.
02Complete and recent support evidence would add 6.6 points, without being enough to lift the compliance blocker.
03The decision must state the pilot segment, the exposure ceiling and the date of the next review.
Fictitious case. Weights, validity periods and non-negotiable conditions must be defined before scoring.
